Since the inception of cameras, humans have relied on such to tell stories and express voices through imagery. Images influence opinions, feelings, thoughts and actions, and nowhere does that ring more true than the highly interconnected world that we live in today. While capturing moments that would otherwise go unseen is vital to staying informed in our society, journalistic integrity should always be at the forefront of a photographer’s mind. In combination with my other works and mediums, I continue to photograph the world and document events through the lens so that we not forget the past and look towards the future with newfound knowledge.
